Reflexology

Reflexology

Reflexology is more than just a foot massage.

It Relaxes, Restores and Revitalises.

What is reflexology

Reflexology is based on the principle that the areas on the feet correspond to parts of the body, which include the organs, glands, muscles, nervous system, and skeletal system.

With certain techniques, reflexologists apply pressure using their thumbs to manipulate points on the feet, hands, and ears to promote balance and harmony. There may be times when an area feels tender; here, we will focus a little extra on that area to help shift these imbalances.

Reflexology is a non-invasive holistic therapy that supports the whole body, physically, emotionally and energetically, to improve one’s wellbeing. It helps to promote a deeper sense of relaxation and complements modern medicine and other therapies.

Reflexology can be performed on feet, hands, and ears or in a combination.

Ear Reflexology

Ear reflexology works on the same principle as foot reflexology. The main difference is that we work the ears simultaneously.

Another difference is that you may come for a session for a particular issue, such as chronic anxiety, the ears may pick up something more pressing that is presenting on that day.

Hand Reflexology

Reflexology works the same way on the hands as on the feet and ears. Sometimes, the feet can't be accessed, or a short session is needed. It's a wonderful, relaxing time, especially for the elderly, who enjoy that personal time.

An advantage is that you can easily perform some techniques to help alleviate issues such as digestive upsets, constipation, and neck and back pain.
